Husband of the year may belong to Chris Sasser, who lit up a whole crowd in pink to surprise Emily Ann Roberts on her birthday.
He quietly asked fans on tour to cover their phone lights with little pink papers during one of her own songs. So when she began singing, the entire place turned rosy.
Chris said she was surprised and happy, and he thanked everyone who helped him make it happen. The two share their homespun life together on their Sasser House page, from her crochet and fresh bread to the rescue pups she loves.
