My SIL kept dumping her three young kids on my mom because “she’s retired anyway and has nothing to do” — so I had to put a stop to it. My mom lives in the same neighborhood as my husband’s older sister, Rachel. One evening, I decided to stop by my mom’s house, and when I opened the door, my jaw nearly dropped. All three of Rachel’s young children were inside my mom’s house. My mom was standing in the middle of the kitchen, looking completely exhausted, not knowing whether to start cleaning up or cooking.
